Quilt Market Schoolhouse & Giveaway

The day before Quilt Market officially opens, Schoolhouse takes place. Authors, fabric designers, and  others do a short spiel on their soon-to-debut products. The opening session featured Andover's Little House on the Prairie fabric lines: Scenics & Icons, Prairie Flowers, and Walnut Grove. For more detailed information, see the Market newsletter.
Because I adore my readers, I'm offering two chances to win a Little House Tote. If you aren't a follower yet, it's not too late. Check out your subscription options in the sidebar on the right. To get in the running, leave a comment below letting me know how you follow my blog and what you think of the new collections in this post. For an additional entry, share the giveaway on social media, and leave a link in the comments. I'll pick a winner on Nov. 17 using a random number generator.

I attended Angela Walter's session about her new fabric line, Fragmental. There are quite a few projects to go wit the collection, in an assortment of sizes. Below Angela is holding rock Candy.
The collection contains an ingenious panel that looks like you spent all day piecing.
Except you don't have to.

Here's Hailey's Stars...
and Faded Stripes...
in two color ways.
Anna Maria Horner showed off her new collection, Fibs & Fables. This collection is rooted in vintage fairy tale illustrations with a moody color palette chosen to convey the balance between tragedy and joyful resolutions. If you've been looking for the perfect print for Rapunzel's hair, here's the collection you've been waiting for!
