Quilt Market: Moda and Riley Blake + Giveaway

Riley Blake had a fantastic wall of minis at Quilt Markter to highlight their new Hashtag collection.
The following quilts show off the Confetti Cottons wonderfully.
Color Play
Berry Sweet
Lori Holt of Bee in My Bonnet has brought forth her characteristic cuteness and designed Sewing Scissors.
Moda had some fun collections. You may remember Thicket by Stacie Bloomfield of Gingiber (which is having an amazing Black Friday sale). Get ready for some holiday spirit with her Merrily collection.
Sugar Pie by Lella Boutique is too sweet!
Spring Bunny Fun by Stacy Iest Hsu is completely adorable, and even has a panel to make bunny dolls.
Brigitte Heitland unveiled True Blue, a denim-shaded modern collection.
Sweetwater's latest is Treehouse Club.
Jen Kingwell had a booth chock-full of scrappy beauties.
Her Long Time Gone sampler was particularly eye-catching.
Up for grabs today is a heap load of mini charms from Moda's yet-to-be-released collections and a pair of cute snippers. I'll pick a winner Nov. 30. I have a few stipulations for this one:
1. Follow the Quilting Mod blog (Bloglovin', Feedly, E-mail, etc.).
2. Tell me how you follow in a comment below.
3. Have a U.S. mailing address. Sorry, but shipping can be scary for lumpy things going overseas.
Update: Donna is the winner!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Thanksgiving.

Quilt Market Continued

Hold on to your seats today. I'm taking you on a high-speed, whirlwind tour of assorted Quilt Market booths today.
Art Gallery took a detour from their usual booth paradigm--multiple stalls manned by fabric designers and filled with an abundance of clothing, bags, quilts, and other handmade items featuring each specific collection. Spring Market in Salt Lake was a wonderful example.
Instead, they opted for a color-themed living room area, and walls displaying rectangular swatches of fabric and inspiration photos. Two sculptures, one consisting of fabric bolts constructed into triangles and a weaving loom with knit fabrics in leu of yarn, adorned Art Gallery's showcase.
This change of styles was rewarded with the First Place Award for Multiple Booths. You can check out the Art Gallery blog for more details.
Cathy Wiggins, quilter of leather, had a Market booth, as well as a special exhibit at Festival. I loved this piece.
Clothworks, parent company of American Made Brand, featured their free American Made Mystery Block of the Month in their booth.
Hoffman is adding a sweet, original new component to their company and her name is Melissa Averinos. You may have heard of the Making Faces class she's teaching at Quilt Con or her Best in Show win ash Quilt Con 2016. If not, there's a great While She Naps podcast that can fill you in on this fascinating, genuine personality.
I should probably explain what all this had to do with Market. Melissa has designed a Me+You batik line for Hoffman called Yummies, and it's a lovely rainbow with a sprinkling of kitties.
Speaking of lovely rainbows, I adored Lecien's Geogram by Samarra Khaja. Go see my Schoolhouse coverage for a closer look.
The Marcus Fabrics booth had Victoria Findlay Wolf's Star Storm quilt hanging up.
Sassafrass Lane has made a tradition of unveiling a new block of the month on an annual basis. Paradox Point was unveiled this year.
I love how these minis allow so many more quilts to be shown.
And pyramid pillows? Yes, please!
Sherri Cifaldi Morrill of Whole Circle Studio, winner of the Craftsy Designer Fellowship, had a sleek inaugural booth at Quilt Market. She and her husband were delightful, talented individuals who it was a pleasure to meet. Her husband crafted the quilt ladder. Nice, right?
I could see the quilters here in Albuquerque, home of the International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, go wild for this pattern.
These bees are downright clever.
Thanks for tagging along on my miscellaneous sprint through some of my personal favorites. What did you think?

Quilt Market: Robert Kaufman and Michael Miller

Robert Kaufman showcased several beautiful fabric lines at Quilt Market. Carolyn Friedlander's eponymously-named collection fits in with the crisp, architectural style of her previous lines.
I had seen a preview of her new lawn and quilting cottons during Schoolhouse, but it was fun to see everything laid out in the booth.
This is Rin.
Even the table had an orderly sensibility.
I thoroughly enjoyed Elizabeth Hartman's booth.
She had the most clever fabric succulent display for her new Pond line.
Violet Craft and Patty Sloniger were a couple of my favorites for Michael Miller. Violet had done up some of her classic paper-pieced Abstractions patterns in new color schemes.
She also has some EPP patterns in the works.
Patty Sloniger's new Bake Shop collection is complete cuteness.
This quilt is appropriately named Slice of Pie.
Keep it up Patty, Violet, Carolyn and Elizabeth!
